BizTalk 2013 Solution Template

Posted: October 10, 2014  |  Categories: BizTalk Uncategorized

The mad coder has blogged about a BizTalk 2010/ Visual Studio 2008 Solution template based on Dan Rosanova’s book – BizTalk Patterns 2010

If you try to install this on BizTalk 2013/ Visual Studio 2012 you get this error.

After modifying  the source.extension.vsixmanifest as described here and recompiling the mad coder solution gives a VSIX, that installs the Organized BizTalk Solution extension into Visual studio 2013.

This extension can be downloaded from here. It is only compatible with the Professional edition of Visual Studio 2012

Hi Mark! Thanks for this information. I’m having the same problem, so I want to modify manifest file and recompile the solution. However I’m having two problems: first, the “here” link regarding source.extension.vsixmanifest modification does not exist anymore. Second, VS2010 is giving me the error “The project type is not supported by this installation.” Can you please confirm which project type is this, so I can install missing VS components and open the solution? Thank you very much!
