After installing the CU1 update we observed this error from the BizTalk Administration console.
We attempted to register the new MBVSnapin.dll using InstallUtil.exe and got this error;
An exception occurred while trying to find the installers in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 R2\SDK\Utilities\Support Tools\BizTalkHealthMonitor\MBVSnapin.dll assembly.
System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information.
Aborting installation for C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 R2\SDK\Utilities\Support Tools\BizTalkHealthMonitor\MBVSnapin.dll.
One of my colleagues Deepa Kamalanathan downloaded the BizTalk Health Monitor 3.1 and then installed it using the BHMSetup.exe. The BizTalk Administration console now opens without error.
I also created a new BizTalk 2013R2 environment and applied the CU1 update without registering the MBVSnapIn. I then attempted to install the MBVSnapIn using the InstallUtil.exe. I got exactly the same error that we saw above. I believe you cannot install the MBVSnapin using the InstallUtil.exe that comes with BizTalk Server 2013 R2 anymore and you must use the BHMSetup.exe instead. It would be nice if someone could confirm this for me.
